I feel the need to reset, renew and rewire my brain. The only way that I know how to do that is by doing something different. So this year, my word is scripture. I am going to rewire my brain with the nearly 1000 promises of God listed in the Bible that offer hope, love and goodness for my life.
My secondary word is Joy! I believe that joy is a muscle that needs to be activated, and I want to work out in that way! The joy of the Lord is my strength!
Last year, my word was prayer and do I pray. In fact, I have joined contemplative prayer groups that I meet with almost every night which deeply help me reset, restore and rewire.
I am thinking of all of you and your many blessings and challenges. I want the best for all of us.
If you feel like it, we would love to hear your word of the year in the comment section of this blog.
I wish you peace, true peace for all of us and the world, peace that passes understanding. What I say here may not be enough for many and what we have all experienced, however, perhaps if we choose a positive focus it will lead to better things. One way of doing that is by choosing a Word of the Year to help guide us!
Here is to a BLESSED New Year, hope to hear your word of the year in the comment section!
Love,
Blessed
